Sphere Breaks Records in Vegas
OPN spoke with Stuart Elby, a senior vice president of MSG Ventures, about the technology and development of the new entertainment venue.

The Sphere entertainment venue—a giant orb about 366 feet tall—held the grand opening of its indoor theater on 29 September, with the rock band U2 beginning a 25-show residency. Reportedly the biggest spherical structure in the world, Sphere also displays animations on its 580,000 square foot exterior, which is covered by 1.2 million LED pucks.
