“Optics Letters … received its first manuscript by helicopter on Oct. 26. James Sinclair of Sharon, Conn., a trustee of Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning (Deemed University) in Prasanthinilayam, India, was given the paper during a recent visit to India. While on a business trip to the Boston area, he flew into L.G. Hanscom Field in Bedford, Mass., to deliver the manuscript to Patricia Rogers, assistant to the editor of Optics Letters.”
