Illuminated lemon
A Sony Nex-6 camera (with a Sony E 30mm f3.5 Macro Lens) was modified using “LifePixel” (Mukilteo WA), rendering it sensitive to near IR (< 1100 nm) light. A lemon was illuminated with a 635-nm diode laser and luminesced. Photos were taken through a Hoya 720nm IR long pass filter. [Image from the 2016 After Image photo contest]
