A Live Look at the Reproductive System
At the upcoming Optica Biophotonics Congress, Irina Larina will talk about dynamic optical coherence tomography for in vivo imaging of the fallopian tubes.

The Optica Biophotonics Congress will take place from 7 to 10 April in Fort Lauderdale, FL, USA. At the congress, Irina Larina, Baylor College of Medicine, USA, will give a plenary talk entitled, “Dynamic OCT for In Vivo Investigation of the Fallopian Tube Physiology: Eggs, Sperm, and Cilia.” She plans to cover the novel methods she and her team developed for in vivo imaging of the female reproductive system, and the unexpected discoveries they have made from this research. OPN spoke with Larina before her talk to get a sneak peek.
