Optical beam induced current
The optical beam induced current (OBIC) image of a GaAs VCSEL diode is obtained by using a Ti-sapphire laser with a center wavelength λ= 780 nm. The positive and negative pins of the LD is connected with a BNC cable which is then fed to the A/D channel of the scanner to reconstruct the OBIC image. The OBIC image is merged with the reflection image with a scale bar of 10 μm.
