This book was written by experts in the field, and it is dedicated to all aspects of THz fields. The book consists of a series of rather short contributions regarding theoretical or experimental aspects of the THz field. The generation and detection of the THz fields are treated in this book in various chapters dedicated to antennas, IMPATT diodes or optical methods. The propagation of THz fields for future communications is also investigated. The use of the THz fields in imaging and biomedical applications are extensively treated. The book is beautifully illustrated and contains references at the end of each chapter. The book is recommended for all working in the emerging area of research regarding THz fields, 6G communications and biomedical analysis using electromagnetic fields.
