The vast subject of electromagnetism has been receiving much attention ever since the pioneering works of Maxwell and Faraday because of its broad applicability, particularly to superconductivity. The purpose of this book, now in its second edition, is to provide an introduction to electromagnetism which is oriented toward superconductivity applications. It is this practical aspect that distinguishes this book from others.
The volume also provides the reader with a set of exercises and homework problems. The target audience for this book is undergraduate and graduate students in physics and engineering.
