Semiconductor Quantum Optics

This lengthy book focuses on the applications of quantum optics to semiconductors. It begins with an introduction to fundamental concepts of electromagnetic theory and quantum mechanics, and then moves on to light quantization, solid state physics, the basics of  quantum optics and finally the main subject of the book—semiconductor quantum optics.

The text is very clearly written. Many of the formulas are explained step by step, there are numerous exercises and recommendations for further reading at the end of most chapters. It is a useful tool for all those working in the quantum optics area of research.
