The Conference on Lasers and Electro-Optics (CLEO) will take place from 4 to 9 May in Long Beach, CA, USA. At the conference, Laura M. Lechuga, Catalan Institute of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, Spain, will give a plenary talk entitled, “Nanophotonic Biosensors for Ultrasensitive Fast Diagnostics at the Point-of-Need.” Before the conference, OPN spoke with Lechuga to get a preview.
