Compressive sensing could revolutionize the sensor industry; however, many people believe that the field lacks concrete evidence to support this claim. Meeting attendees were tasked to define what is “real” in compressive sensing, to answer challenging questions about the potential impact of this emerging field, and to figure out what is holding it back from wide-scale adoption.
