TIR "Spine"
Total internal reflection (TIR) of a 365-nm beam across the length of a glass slide with its top surface covered with fluorescent dye. Each point of TIR generates a point of fluorescence that resembles a vertebra in a spine. (Setup by Tong Xintong.)
