The book introduces the basic theory and the physical properties of photoelectric materials and covers fabrication technologies and selected applications. Written by a group of researchers from the Chongqing University of Arts and Sciences (P.R.C.), with the author list headed by Tao Han, the book starts with three chapters on fundamentals, followed by three chapters on LEDs and by two on transparent conductive oxide (TCO) layers and touch panel screens. Display screens, including TFT-LCD and OLED, are presented in a chapter, and the last one is a review of solar cells, focusing on materials and structures. The book is well-organized and can be recommended to physicists and engineers.
