Nanotechnology-COVID-19 Interface

COVID-19, the pandemic that never should have happened! A lot of research has come up since the disease’s surge across the world. The present book discusses the outbreak’s origin, history and cause.

The book also provides information about the structure, antigenicity and life cycle of Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus-2 (SARS-CoV-2). It explains how nanotheranostics link the gap between the vital phases of SARS-CoV-2 life cycle and the management of COVID-19—diagnosis, therapy, prevention and self-protection.

The work is a concise but useful resource for researchers working in this area. It concludes with details about the types of SARS-CoV-2 vaccines and stages of COVID-19 vaccine development, followed by a description of biopharmaceutical companies involved in producing the vaccines. Given the latest genetic variants and availabilities of COVID-19 vaccines, this section will need to be updated.
