Quantum Photonics, Second Edition

The first two chapters of this book review the fundamental quantum properties of photons and electrons. The author then introduces the concept of their nonlocality at the quantum level.

The book’s first edition (2017) was a little more concise than the second edition, which has been expanded to include the treatment of electrons as fermions, with their own operator algebra.

The book is suitable to be used as a textbook because of its pedagogical approach to the fundamentals of quantum photonics. Quantum Photonics is supported by numerous numerical calculations that the reader can practice. Every chapter ends with a set of exercises and a reference list. This textbook is recommended for a graduate-level course on quantum photonics.
