Bahaa E.A. Saleh will serve as founding editor for OSA’s newest publication, Advances in Optics and Photonics (AOP). AOP will publish invited long reviews and peer-reviewed tutorials in an online quarterly journal. “With AOP, OSA will enter a new publishing domain, creating a journal that will comprehensively explore the most important topics in optics and photonics,” said Saleh, who is a professor at Boston University.
