OSA Fellows Daniel Kleppner and Charles M. Vest, along with Robert Langer, have been chosen to receive the nation’s highest honors for science and technology. Kleppner and Langer, both from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, will receive the 2006 National Medals of Science. Vest, MIT’s former president and current president of the National Academy of Engineering, will be honored with the National Medal of Technology.
