The Conference on Lasers and Electro-Optics (CLEO) Pacific Rim 2007, the seventh of the biennial conference series, was held August 26-31, 2007, in Seoul, Korea. The meeting?fs Organization Committee, chaired by Jai-Hyung Lee (Seoul National University), and the Technical Program Committee, chaired by Chang-Hee Nam (KAIST), spent more than two years preparing the conference, which was enormously successful. There were 783 presented papers and 858 attendees from 29 countries.
