Supercontinuum Light thumbnail
Supercontinuum Light

Through a photonic-crystal fiber pumped by a high-intensity Q-switched laser, we generated a supercontinuum light source covering the spectral region of ~350 to ~2000 nm. The image shows the fiber optic connector output, where light emission is observed in the visible region of the spectrum.
